On October 1, 2024, in Yerevan, as part of the III Eurasian Economic Forum, a plenary meeting of the Heads of Governments of the EAEU countries was held, with the participation of distinguished guests from Uzbekistan and Iran. The plenary session was followed by the conclusion and awarding of the laureates of the Second International Climate Competition “Green Eurasia,” organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (https://greeneurasia.asi.ru/winners/). Among the competition’s winners were the Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development of Sakhalin Oblast, Russia, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Egypt, the Government of Moscow, Gazprombank, the Climate Finance Center of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of Indonesia, and other state agencies and companies, totaling more than 30 finalists.
TechnoGroupService LLP was the only organization from Kazakhstan to become a finalist in the “Low-Carbon Energy” category, securing second place with its project "Construction of a Solar Power Plant," financed through the issuance of Green Bonds on the KASE exchange. The TechnoGroupService team is particularly proud of the opportunity to maximize Kazakhstani content and the export-oriented nature of this high-tech project.
The prestigious award in the "Eurasian Perspective" category for the 50 MW "Kun Bulagy" solar power plant project was personally presented to the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TechnoGroupService LLP, Zhomart Mominbaev, by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Serik Zhumangarin, as a mark of the project’s high integration potential.
These awards underscore the importance of efforts to develop renewable energy sources and strengthen the company’s reputation as one of the leaders in sustainable development. We continue to work with full dedication toward achieving ambitious goals in the development of domestic energy engineering in the renewable energy sector, which fully aligns with the strategic priorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as outlined in President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s address on September 2, 2024.
