PowerTech 2025

From April 2 to 4, 2025, the international exhibition and conference PowerTech 2025 is taking place in Almaty, serving as a dialogue platform for discussions on decarbonization, renewable energy development, and energy efficiency in Central Asia.

Implementation of the 20 MW SPP

On March 20, 2025, BK Energy Limited (Private Company), a subsidiary of TechnoGroupService LLP, successfully completed the state expertise review and received approval of the design and estimate documentation for the construction of a 20 MW solar power plant (SPP) in the Zhetysu Region.

This project is the first in Kazakhstan to be implemented through the renewable energy auction mechanisms and to utilize domestically produced photovoltaic modules. Its implementation marks an important step in promoting localized manufacturing and sustainable energy solutions.

To finance the construction of the SPP, the company plans to issue green bonds on the AIX exchange, supported by a second-party opinion, and to utilize interest rate subsidy mechanisms and co-guarantee instruments provided by DAMU Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC.

The BK-Energy 20 MW SPP project reflects the company’s commitment to enhancing local content in Kazakhstan’s green energy initiatives and adopting advanced technological solutions, opening new prospects for sustainable growth and climate-focused investment.
