On October 24, 2025, an on-site public monitoring session of the Public Council of JSC "National Managing Holding 'Baiterek'" was held at the "Damu" Entrepreneurship Development Fund. Participants included members of the Public Council, including Zhomart Mominbayev, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TechnoGroupService LLP, as well as representatives of Baiterek Holding, the management of the Damu Fund, and the business community.
During the meeting, key results of the Fund’s activities were presented. Since its inception, support has been provided to 229.6 thousand projects totaling 15.1 trillion tenge, including 8,903 projects worth 2.2 trillion tenge in 2025. The effectiveness of state support was confirmed by monitoring 65,203 projects totaling 9.6 trillion tenge, including 9,693 projects in 2025, with 1,186 violations (12%) identified.
Particular attention was given to non-financial tools: integration with 183 marketplaces, launch of an acceleration program for startups, implementation of 20 consulting projects, and training of 2,060 entrepreneurs. Digitalization initiatives were also presented, including the introduction of AI, Big Data, GovTech, and RPA solutions.
The participants discussed the role of the Damu Fund in achieving the strategic goals of the Baiterek Holding, the implementation of the “Orleu” program, the development of SME support in the regions, and issues of transparency and accountability.
At the end of the discussion, members of the Public Council highly appreciated the effectiveness of the measures being implemented, noted the progressive approach to business support, and formulated recommendations for further improvement of the Fund’s activities.
