From October 21–23, 2025, the 23rd International Exhibition "PowerExpo Almaty 2025" dedicated to energy, electrical engineering, and power engineering was held in Almaty at the Atakent Exhibition Center. As part of the event's business program, a plenary session titled “Localization and Demand: How to Ensure a Sustainable Market for Domestic Manufacturers?” was held, bringing together leading industry experts.
Zhomart Mominbayev, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of “TechnoGroupService” LLP, delivered a presentation on the topic “Domestic Manufacturers and the Economic Complexity Index (ECI).” During his speech, he presented concrete areas of state support for domestic manufacturers that can influence the development of high-tech supply chains and the growth of Kazakhstan's export potential.
Zhomart Mominbayev emphasized that the use of domestic equipment in projects can contribute to advancing the country in the international Economic Complexity Index: with the implementation of systemic measures, Kazakhstan has the potential to rise from its current 93rd position to 75th–60th place.
The plenary session was opened by S.S. Agafonov, Chairman of the ALE “Kazakhstan Association of Energy Repair, Design, Engineering Companies and Energy Equipment Manufacturers” (KazEPI). The session was moderated by Zh.G. Khairushev, Managing Director of the NCE RK “Atameken.” Speakers included: E.I. Nabiev, Director of “Nero Group,” A.V. Slesarenko, Director of “Profland.KZ” LLP, and other representatives of the industry.
Participation in PowerExpo Almaty 2025 highlighted TechnoGroupService LLP’s commitment to industrialization, the development of local production, and strengthening the country’s economic resilience.
