ESG Conference in Almaty

Almaty, May 18, 2026 — Anvar Kulakhmetov, a young specialist of TGS, took second place at the scientific conference of Narxoz University dedicated to current issues of ecology and sustainable development.

The conference was held in a hybrid format (offline/online) and brought together young researchers who presented scientific reports, presentations, and poster papers in Kazakh, Russian, and English.

Anvar presented a report on the topic “Integration of ESG into Corporate Strategy: Risks, Reporting and Financial Results,” in which he examined mechanisms for integrating ESG factors into companies’ strategic management, the impact of non-financial reporting on investment attractiveness and business financial performance, as well as key risks arising from non-compliance of corporate practices with international ESG standards.
