Integration Processes in Central Asia

An important event for the process of integration among Central Asian countries was the investment forum held as part of the trade and economic mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Tajikistan, which took place from August 19 to 22, 2024, in Dushanbe. One of the key topics of the forum was the development of cooperation between the brotherly countries in the field of green energy, aimed at addressing the growing negative environmental and economic consequences of water and electricity shortages.

"TechnoGroupService" LLP, following its primary mission of developing the green economy in the region, actively participated in the Forum and B2B meetings. The Deputy Director of Business Development, Zhomart Nurkanov, along with partners in the field of clean silicon production, scientist Berik Rakhimbaev and geologist Makhambet Suleimenov, held a meeting with the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sherali Kabir, during which they discussed the prospects of cooperation on "green" projects, including the construction of solar power plants (SPP), the establishment of photovoltaic module production, and the processing and production of pure silicon from high-quality quartz. The Minister emphasized the importance of localizing production in Tajikistan when developing renewable energy sources and supported the idea of advancing the proposed projects.

During a meeting with the management of the diversified company AVESTA Group, Zhomart Nurkanov proposed cooperation in the construction of solar power plants. At the conclusion of the business forum, "TechnoGroupService" LLP signed memorandums of cooperation on projects for the construction of solar power plants, the production of photovoltaic modules, and the production of pure silicon from quartz mined at a quartz deposit in the Sughd Region in northern Tajikistan.

The development of these projects will enable the Central Asian countries to ensure the strategic development of their own technologies in the field of solar energy, where the infrastructural and fiscal support from the Governments of both countries is crucial.
